SSL VPN Connect Delay

We configured SSL VPN for windows 7 using Edge Client. I found that everytime after successful authentication, the Edge Client stuck in the "Finalizing" status for about 1 minute before the window minimizes. In the end I found it is due to an PAC file configuration I had in the proxy setting. When I removed that and configured proxy IP address with port, the delay went away. But I do need to use PAC file, anyone knows why the delay and how to fix this?
