SSL Offloading for application running on port 8443

Hi

 

 

I am new to F5 and to this community. I have got a request to do ssl offloading. The requirement is

 

 

Users will be accessing the URL https://abc.com:8443 , ssl should terminate on BigIP and the communication from BigIP to server will be http/8443.

 

 

Kindly help me on this.

    Hello KM,

     

     

    this won't be a problem on LTM. You need a Virtual Server on x.x.x.x:8443 with a client ssl profile attached. Pool members need to be configured on y.y.y.y:8443 etc. For ssl termination, make sure you don't use a server side ssl profile.
