SSL From 6400 to 4100 to Exchange 2007

Hello all,

 

We have Exchange 2007 traffic coming into a BIG-IP 6400 on port 443. We have purchased and loaded a SSL certificate and the unit is terminating the SSL traffic correctly. From the 6400 to the Exchange server we are using the built in client SSL profile and everything is working as expected. So right now it is:

 

autodiscover.company.com (6400 SSL Profile Client) - serverssl (6400 SSL Profile Server)

 

Now what I would like to do is forward that traffic from the 6400 to the 4100 ASM that we are working on setting up. I have created the necessary nodes, pools and virtual servers on the 4100. I have also created nodes on the 6400 which point at the Virtual Server IP's that I created on the 4100 and I have added those nodes to the exchange pool on the 6400.

 

The question I have is how do I continue to allow the 6400 to terminate the SSL traffic, pass it on to the 4100 via SSL and then have the 4100 pass it on to the Exchange servers via SSL?

 

I have tried to use: autodiscover.company.com (6400 SSL Profile Client) - serverssl (6400 SSL Profile Server) and clientssl - serverssl on the 4100, but that doesn't work.
