Is it possible to run a SQL query and depending on the result put a pool member up or down? The problem here is that the SQL query is not running against the pool member.

CirrostratusYes. Both the MSSQL and MySQL monitors have fields where you can put an alias address (the address of the SQL server you want to check) and depending on whether the check is successful or not your pool member(s) will be marked UP/DOWN.

CirrusIt looks like the fields are only editable when you create a new monitor for the first time . Once it has been created they cannot be modified.. That is what the problem was.
