Source IP Address for Monitors Probes

I need information about how make the configuration to use Virtual Server IP Address as Source IP Address for the Monitoring Probes, for example an HTTP Monitor.     Thanks in advance

Hi German,

 

 

You cannot specify the source IP address the LTMs use to source monitors with the inbuilt monitors. You can specify a source address for external monitors. Here's an example using ping:

That said, it's not possible to source monitor traffic from an IP address that's shared between units in an active standby pair as both units monitor the pool members at the same time and only one unit owns each shared IP address at any given time.
