Source Address Affinity
Hi I am new for using F5. I plan to create the two pool for serve 443 and 80 pool nodes. I want to use the source IP address to control the different web server usage in balance. Client use the Load Balancer to choose two web server to connect the two middle ware software.
Web 13 and Web 14 to connect two individual middle ware server without cluster .
I check if I want to client source IP address to designate to use one server, I have to set this persistence to control the client connect to one server, in case of the server is not using , it will direct to use another web 14 to keep the connection in reliable. I find the option for map proxies and match across virtual servers and match across virtual services.
May I know the three different options for purpose and disable to use it for purpose? Please advice
Thanks,
Alfred

You can read about the various match across options here, https://support.f5.com/csp/article/K5837.
Map Proxies: https://support.f5.com/kb/en-us/solutions/public/7000/000/sol7004.html
This is to define a group of proxies and make them be interpreted as one, so that all the persistence will be directed to the same single pool member.
Best,
Andrew
