Solarwinds copy ucs to remote storage
Hello, I can get Solarwinds to create a copy of the ucs file, but does anyone know how I can (what command?) use to get that ucs file off the F5 to remote storage? Thanks.

I don't know how Solarwinds works but the F5 supports SCP and SFTP so if Solarwinds does, that's the way to go.

thanks, those are good, but I was looking for something (if possible) that could be done automatically without having to manually enter a password etc. thanks.

You can setup authentication based on SSH key vice username/password.

A quick browse of the Thwack forums suggests there have been at least two feature requests related to this;
- FB22457 in 2010
- FB42391 in 2012
SolarWinds clearly don't consider this as particularly important. You could contact them and raise a feature request yourself.
You're best bet right now is to run the SolarWinds SCP/SFTP server and then use a script on the F5 to create the UCS and copy it to wherever you run the scp/sftp server or, use a SolarWinds script/alternative commands.
