Software Management: Install Configuration

I will be performing a Software Upgrade of our F5 Appliance. I'm confuse with the "install configuration" should I choose "yes" or "no" ? The goal is to have the same configuration after I perform my Software upgrade. Please advise

    After I've done with the upgrade and reloaded the router. the Appliance is showing "disconnected" in the upper left. this appliance is in standby mode.

      I found out that the disconnection is normal because of mismatch version of software, after upgrading the other F5 box it all went up normal.
