SNMP Rate Limiting

I have ASM provisioned in the network at the outer layer and when the whitehat vulnerability scan runs the snmp servers in the interior network are close to falling over receiving all of the snmp trap traffic. Is there any way to rate limit this traffic so that it will not tip over the SNMP servers? The idea would be to rate limit the traps from ASM. Thanks, WWTBIGIP
