SNMP Polling CPU vs. Web GUI CPU Stats

Hey All,

 

 

Trying to get the most accurate CPU information via SNMP polling on our F5 LTMs. Currently I am using the following OID string to get the CPU stats on our F5:

 

 

 

sysGlobalHostCpuUsageRatio5m (.1.3.6.1.4.1.3375.2.1.1.2.20.37)

 

 

 

The value that this returns seems to be a bit different than what the Web GUI shows or if I run the "shw sys cpu default" tmsh command.

 

 

 

Here are the current values: SNMP - 18% utilization / Show Sys CPU default: 24%

 

 

 

Even if I check at the other intervals (5sec or 1min) via SNMP it still does not sync up with what the system is showing.

 

 

 

Anyone have any suggestions?
