snmp network load monitor

Hi,

I'm trying to set up a monitor, so that I can use the network load on an network interface for load balancing.

Hint:

We have some proxy servers for internet connection behind the Big-IP. But maybe one user made a download and another users is reading some internet sites. So the first proxy with one user has a higher load than the other proxies, so load balancing should go to the other proxies.

I have created a DCA Base monitor with the OID 1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.10.3 (bytes in traffic) , where the .3 is the numer of the outgoing network card.

But this is a summing up integer and I need the number for bits/sec.

Any ideas how I can create such monitor for use with dynamic ratio load balancing?

Thanks

Michael
