smtp with ssl/start_tls

Does the SMTPS profile with "Allow" for START_TLS accomplish the same thing as this irule or are they different?

I'm trying to figure out how you can do regular smtp, start_tls and smtps on the same virtual. Going directly to the exchange server--it handles it in that way....so in order to not break clients i'd like to replicate the same behavior on the F5 virtual.

 

I run into issues where regular SMTP does not work because it seems to do smtp w/ssl you have to have a server ssl profile assigned.
