shutting down Big-IP

Hello,

 

 

One of my customers have a requirement that they need to shut down Big-IP from external device from remote location when a disaster occurs, before power runs out.

 

I was guessing maybe iControl could be used to meet the requirement, and looked through the documentations, but could not find methods does this job..

 

Could someone advise me if this is possible with iControl??

    There aren't any iControl methods that will cause the device to halt. We do have a reboot_system() method

    But that will cause the system to reboot and start up again after the powerdown.
