Sharing cookie between httpand https

Hi, Wanted to check how to create vip where if users while browsing switches from httpto https or vice versa then cookie should remain same. Can I use the same cookie profile for httpand https,will this work? Or do I need to use universal cookie and both should use same universal cookie?

Please suggest.

is it same pool? if yes, i think default cookie persistence profile should work.

otherwise, you may use universal persistence with match across option.
