We have a Sharepoint 2010 Environment with 2 Sharepoint App Servers and a Project Server. The Sharepoint App Servers are Load Balanced via F5. User goes to itportal.company.com it goes to the Sharepoint Site just fine. Every time the User clicks on a Link where the Project Servers is involved it comes up with the Portal but the Project Page shows a Spinning Wheel and does not Load. Any Suggestions?

Grayson_149410Have you tried doing a iRule that looks for that site and sends it to the Project Server pool? Create a pool just for the project server and have the iRule look for your project site and send it to that pool.

To supplement what @Grayson said, if you have trouble figuring out what's failing, you could run something like Fiddler (Coffee if you're on a Mac) to monitor the network traffic and see which requests are failing. That may also help narrow down what you'd want to check for in the iRule.
