Carlos, Are you using APM? Can you give me so insite into what you have provisioned on the BIP? Do you need to use PIV or the E-mail Cert of the CAC? AD backend? There is so much going on here that can be tweaked. If you just want to do OCSP revocaton based on CAC that is easy, if you want to marry an EDIPI up to an AD user and SSO Kerberos to the backend that is a different beast all together.
