Shared IP between Pair of BIG IPs

1. Yes, in v9.x you can have redundant pairs with a shared address. This value is stored in the internal database. These posts cover the values used to store peer information:

2. 9.1 is our stability branch and is based on the 9.0 code base. I'd use the 9.0 SDK for this branch. We don't release SDK's for every release we have but only when new revisions require it. All our 9.x SDK's are forward compatible (meaning 9.0 will work with all 9.x BIG-IP versions). If you want new features added in let's say 9.2, you'll need to upgrade to the 9.2.2 SDK. The new methods will be identified in the documentation with the "Introduced" tag stating which product release they were added in.
