Setting default route using VLANs

We have a setup using more than one VLAN for the VIPs. This is functioning, but I would like to add default routes for each VLAN. Am I correct to create a route for each VLAN using the next settings ? Then I have the problem I can not add the gateway for that VLAN.

Name : default-route-vlanA

Description :

Destination : 0.0.0.0

Netmask : 0.0.0.0

Resource : Use VLAN /Tunnel

VLAN / Tunnel : vlanA

MTU : 0

Main question are :

  1. Do I need the default route for each VLAN or can I count on the "Auto Last Hop" function ?
  2. If yes, how to create the default route for each VLAN using the gateway in that VLAN ?

  • Hello Willy.

Only configure one single default route for generic traffic and let "Auto Last Hop" feature to work for the rest virtuals located in the rest of VLANs.
