self ip vs route for multiple networks in single VLAN

we're attempting to have two NAT networks in a single VLAN. our primary NAT network is a private network that is used to translate traffic into our systems. The new NAT network is going to be used to translate traffic going out of our network to public cloud services.

 

I have added both networks to a single VLAN.

 

The default route domain contains the NAT VLAN and is the default for the common partition.

 

I have created a new public-cloud partition where all resources utilizing the outbound NAT would live.

 

First off, am i doing this right, is what i'm doing sane? Is there a better way to do this? I've configured other NAT networks on completely separate VLANs with unique routing domains and gateways but never on a shared VLAN.

 

Secondly, if i move forward with this configuration should i be using self-ips, routes, or both?
