running 2 F5 within the same network

i got 2 F5 LTM both different model , but if i wish to implement it to run within the same network is it possible, not looking into mirror or failed over, just purely each LTM handle different web server.

    It's not supported by F5, but it should work as long as the two units have similar hardware capabilities. Mirroring and failover should both work. I wouldn't suggest doing this for a production pair though.

    We have a pair running in a seperate company we acquired (long before the financial down turn). It appears to work just fine. The key is that the LTM and network is management by the same team such that it's reasonably supported with consistency.
