Risk Involved in VCPU upgrade

Can someone please highlight if there is any risk/potential problem involved with vCPU upgrades on the guest as per procedure given on ASK F5 (link below)

 

What can I mitigate the risk if there is any and contingency plans/Action apart from taking UCS captures. I had checked and verified TMOS compatibility and no. of VCPU as per KB 14218
