Resource management based on partitions
Hi Guys,
I have a question regarding resource management in a BIGIP LTM environment: With Cisco ACE I had the ability of allocating different resources (SSL bandwidth, throughput, etc) to the single contexts in which different customers reside.
Now I’m looking for something similar for the partitions on the F5 LTM, mainly for throughput rates but controlling SSL TPS would be nice as well.
Is there any chance to achieve this?

Might you be looking for vCMP perhaps? vCMP is F5's hypervisor that allows you to configure multiple BIG-IP guests on a single vCMP-capable appliance or VIPRION, with control over resource allocation to each. Administrative "partitions" (not the same as vCMP) allow you to segregate BIG-IP administrative contexts (such as who can administer which elements of a BIG-IP configuration) but does not provide control over throughput and resource consumption.
For more info on vCMP: https://f5.com/resources/white-papers/virtual-clustered-multiprocessing-vcmp https://support.f5.com/kb/en-us/products/big-ip_ltm/manuals/product/vcmp-viprion-configuration-11-4-1/1.html
