Replacing B2100 blade with B2250 while LTM running on Active/standby mode
Currently we are having two viprion chassis (VPR-C2400) with two blades (B2100 in slot 1 & 3). Both Viprion are in Active/Standby mode. We are running with OS 11.5.4 HF2.
Due to end of software development on oct’2018 we are planning to use the B2250 blade instead of B2100 on existing chassis.
I read in some document that if the LTM run on cluster (Active/Standby) the hardware should be same. If this the case, how the interchange blade without impacting end-user traffic?
Appreciate your inputs on this.

There won't be a perfect transition. I have had to move from B2100 to B2250. My recommendation would be to try to upgrade the standby chassis first from B2100 to B2250. Once you complete the blade swap and verify that the device is up and running. Failover from Active (B2100) to Standby (B2250). This transition could cause loss in connectivity for a few seconds to minutes.
