remote syslog size ploblem

I have a test Big-IP 6800 to Internet shopping mall site.

 

In this site, Web logs(contain a very long cookie) are very important.

 

I send a Web log to remote log server by using syslog-ng, but some case Web log is not sent totally(ex: cookie is cutted).

 

 

what is the maximum size of the remote log size with syslog-ng?

 

please give me a answer to send a total Web log to remote log server

    Off the top of my head, I don't remember what the max is, but I think it's based on the current syslog RFC maximum. Last I heard, F5 was waiting for the RFC-specified max to be raised before changing anything on BIG-IP. You might contact support and ask this question and get current status on the change.

     

     

    In the meantime, you might consider changing your web server logging to include cookies and increase the size there.
