Remote Authentication LDAP BIND problem?

Having problems getting remote authentication working on a virtual, release 12.1. Reviewed troubbleshooting guide at https://support.f5.com/csp/article/K15811packet. Went through and - Verifed LDAP server availability per recommendations - Reviewing LDAP log messages. Review of Secure log showed what I THINK is evidence of Error trying to bind as user: When a BIG-IP administrative user attempts to log in using a bad username or password. Article notes the system logs messages similar to the following example: follows with a notice, err, alert, notice.

I don't get all that in my logs, but I do get message coming up as info that matches article notice "httpd[25427]: pam_unix(httpd:auth): authentication failure; logname= uid=48 euid=48 tty= ruser= rhost=192.168.58.58" (article excerpt, not mine)

My question: Is this evidence that I have BIND issue?
