Redundancy state preference for LTM 11.3

Is there a way to set a particular unit in cluster to be preferred as active or standby? Believe there used to be a preferred redundancy state option underneath High Availability section, but this is...

They removed that option when they introduced Traffic Groups where you can have 3 or more units working together.

 

In the absence of his partner he probably will try and go Active on you, so I would suggest that when you power the device back on that you not have any of the interface cables plugged in, log into the Management Console and Force the device Off-line, disable all of the interfaces, and then physically plug all of the interfaces back in..

 

You will then want to restore the HA communication first before you totally restore the device back to service.
