Hello,
I need some assistance and I am hoping someone can help me resolve an issue that I am having. I have a Virtual Server (VS) listening port 80 and traffic needs to be redirected to port 9080 without user interaction. The problem I am having is creating the syntax for the URI.
The URL that users will hit is as follows: http://application.domain.com/application/console
The redirect should point users to 1 of 2 nodes on port 9080 with the URI being /application/console. I have tried syntax from multiple examples but I have not had any luck.
Can someone point me to a link or provide some assistance. I am sure I am missing something easy but I just cannot pin point my mistakes. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

If you create a VS on port 80 and then add your pool, with pool members configured on port 9080, then the BIG-IP will port translate for you automatically (with a standard VS type), without any interaction.
The uri will be maintained as is and no requirement for any fancy profiles/iRules to do this.
