RDS on F5 LTM - starting off

Hello, I'm trying to deploy RDS Gateway, Broker and Web on a pair of F5 LTMs. My problem is that I dont really understand the difference between these services. Please could someone recommend any material that help me understand the differences and then I can try to use the iApps to deploy them.
