Oct 30, 2009RDP issue via Firepass
Hi Guys,
I am having issues in connecting to my RDP via Firepass thin client.
OS - Windows XP
IE - v8
i have the following add ons
1. F5 networks auto update
2. F5 networks cachecleaner
3. F5 networks dynamic application tunnel control
4. F5 networks host control
when ever i try to connect i see the following error
"Sorry, activex control is required to view the page" i have kept the security level to low and disabled pop-ups, enabled java scripting in the browser, it really annoys me, help apreciated.
I havealso tried using Windows 7, it connects sporadically, but most it fails saying "Couldnt connect to Terminal Server" i also notice some error related to Tunnel server, in windows 7
below is the IE debug log for win XP.
Thanks

I would imagine it is due to the fact you are going from IE7 to IE8 or the other way. Reset IE to defaults and remove any compatibility settings you have. Try to logon once again. - Lildu_54664

I'm having this same issue with Windows 7. UAC is set to the lowest setting, and I've added the site to trusted sites list. Added site to pop-ups list as well. When I type in the host name and hit connect under "Direct Connect" I get the pop-up window with the following message: - Lildu_54664
