I even tried it using firefox, i am able to connect sporadically in Windows 7, mostly i get the error "Couldn't connect to terminal server", firefox on XP doesnt connect at all.

 

 

 

That does not matter, can you try to do the suggested piece? Also make sure you have http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?kbid=884020 installed.
