Quick Question - GTM Upgrade in two seperate DC's

We have two standalone LTM+GTM BIG-IP's in two separate DC's and plan to upgrade both units from 11.2.1 HF3 to 11.6.0 HF3.   The units are both apart of the same GTM sync group with "Synchronize"...

during a hotfix or upgrade, I've always made it a personal best practice to follow the steps outlined in Solution 6939. There are some instances where synchronization will work between versions, but personally I stagger LTM upgrade maintenance windows, but upgrade GTMs one at a time but in the same maintenance window.
