What do you mean by Active & Standby GTM ? Are all the DNS requets being sent to only the Active GTM ? Have you checked the logs to make sure if this is the case ?

 

Regarding your statement: now if we configure only one Listener ip (i.e. of active datacentre's GTM) in LDNS and in public dns, in case of any unavailability in Active GTM-LTM virtual server or backend member traffic should get redirected to standby datacentre (since both VS are configured with proper health monitoring in GTM-WideIP). If you are pointing to only 1 GTM and if it fails, there is no alternate option, is there ?
