ProxyPass LTM iRule not working!
Hi,
We have downloaded the ProxyPass iRule for LTM from F5 Dev Central to use for one of our requirement on our F5: BigIP 11.3v APM/LTM. However, we are observing issues with the proxy rewrites and not always the content is displayed.
Couple of issues we are facing here are –
Issue-1: https://my.site.com/app1/, doesn’t load the data always. Sometimes, blank page will be displayed. We do see 200-OK response from server, but the page will be blank (From HTTP response on F12-developer tools, we see complete content from the server). Why is this?
Issue-2: On https://my.site.com/app2/ the page content links again point to the backend server links like http://{BakendServer}:{PortNo}/ . So, when we click these links, the URL changes back to backend server and not https://my.site.com/app2/..{something}../. Could you please let us know why this issue is and if we have missed any configuration for ProxyPassRewrite setup?
Do we need to do anything else for rewriting the links on the web page as well?

Hi,
If you have APM + LTM licenced and provisioned on your BIGIP, you can use APM Portal Access ressources instead of ProxyPass. ProxyPass has difficulties to rewrite Javascripts for instance. And this should be your case if you have a correct 200 answer but blank display.
Switch to Portal Access and all your links, HTML and JS will be rewrite automatically.
