Proxying Blast Extreme protocol with no UAGs

I've configured BIG IP to proxy VMware View PCoIP traffic successfully using APM, as per the guide located here: https://devcentral.f5.com/articles/implementing-pcoip-proxy-as-a-security-server-or-access-point-alternative

I am now wanting to proxy BLAST traffic. Is this possible with no Unified Access Gateway in the deployment, using BIG IP as a Security Server/UAG replacement?

The BIG IP version we are running is 12.1.0.
