Procedure to shutown and restart 5250v with vcmp guests

We are in the process of migrating our core production to new hardware. we have a pair of 5250V pair with VCMP's guests configured in an active/Standby with an auto Snyc enabled. the 2 LTM's are connecting directly to the core. My question is what is the best procedure to shutdown those devices in order to migrate the core switch and then bring them back on line. any helpful command (before and after the migration) to make sure the 2 devices are functioning correctly is greatly appreciated Thank you
