Priority activation is not effective or not working for UDP traffice
I am having issue with Priority Group activation members .When making one of the server force offline and deleting the existing connection, priority activation is not effective or not working.
Pool configured on Round Robin .
I have health monitor is UDP for the pool
-priority group activation is set to less than 1
-Blow are priority group weight configured
1.1.1.1 514 => priority group of 2
2.2.2.2 514 => priority group of 4
3.3.3.3 514 => priority group of 4
When member 2.2.2.2:514( PG of 4) made forced offline and deleted the existing connection, expected behavior is to all new connection need to move to the highest priority group 3.3.3.3:514(PG of 4) but the some of the connection are moving to the lowest priority group 1.1.1.1:514(PG of 2) .
Why the connection goes to lowest priority group 1.1.1.1:514(PG of 2)?
Is the priority group activation will not work for UDP traffic?

Hi Nabarun,
Big-ip works as expected. Priority group activation means that lower priority group pool members will take part if higher priority group loose members.
What are you trying to reach using priority groups?

Agree with @surgeon comments but make sure all 3 group pool members ratio will be different. If the higher ratio pool member(PG) group fail then request will go to lower group ratio members(PG).
Hi expert, please correct me if I am wrong.
