Predictive LB Method

"The Predictive mode dynamic load balancing algorithm ranks server performance over time and prefers pool members that exhibit an improvement in performance over those that exhibit a decline."

 

 

My questions...

 

 

Does anybody know how long the predictive load balancing method needs to be observing the pool members before it is running optimally?

 

 

How much historical data is actually retained or used in the load balancing selection?

 

 

...or are these silly questions?

    Does anybody know how long the predictive load balancing method needs to be observing the pool members before it is running optimally?according to sol6406, i understand it probes all pooll members every second. for optimization, i do not think time is matter.

     

     

    How much historical data is actually retained or used in the load balancing selection?i am not able to see this kind of information as well. not sure if it is internal or not. if not, hope someone can advise.
