Possible to rename partition name afterwards?
Hi there,
using virtualization with Route Domains we configure a dedicated partition for each Route Domain and make it the partition defaults Route Domain (to avoid any use of %-notation in the WebGUI). The name of the partitions will be displayed in the drop-down list on the upper right.
Is it somehow possible to rename the name of a partition without any impact (maybe even doing some manual stuff in several conf-files)? I have the feeling that this is not possible. I tried several things, but latest on "b load" I'm getting error message (even if "b verify load" before was successful).
Can you please confirm if my feeling is correct or otherwise provide me the information how to do the renaming?
Ciao Stefan :)

have you tried to force mcpd after modifying configuration file?

Thanx nitass.
I found some time these days to test this in our LAB and the provided solution was working like a charm.
Need to try it coming Sunday during a production change and hope it will work there as well.
