Ports requirement for Failover Pair

Hi Everyone,

I just need to ask a quick question regarding the ports used by the device in fail-over pair, Which ports (TCP & UDP) should be allowed on the SELF and Floating IP on the Device to make sure the Iquery runs properly and the boxes get synced properly without failure. Also if you can provide some commands to quickly track down the proper working of syn or if there is some problem/error.

Regards,

    you should see it in connection table.

    e.g.

    root@(ve11a)(cfg-sync In Sync)(Active)(/Common)(tmos) show sys connection protocol udp
    Sys::Connections
    200.200.200.13:58921  200.200.200.11:1026  200.200.200.13:58921  200.200.200.11:1026  udp  0  (tmm: 1)  none
    200.200.200.12:35008  200.200.200.11:1026  200.200.200.12:35008  200.200.200.11:1026  udp  0  (tmm: 0)  none
    200.200.200.11:46165  200.200.200.12:1026  200.200.200.11:46165  200.200.200.12:1026  udp  0  (tmm: 1)  none
    200.200.200.11:53355  200.200.200.13:1026  200.200.200.11:53355  200.200.200.13:1026  udp  0  (tmm: 1)  none
    Total records returned: 4

    and this is for configsync.
