Feb 09, 2009Plugin install fails with 64 bit linux firefox 3
I have tried to install the F5 plugin on 64 bit Firefox 3 and see this exact error described here:
http://ubuntuforums.org/archive/index.php/t-986832.html
Does this mean the F5 Firepass server is not 6.0.3? I have no idea what version my company is running, although an email was sent out saying the F5 server would be down for "maintenance" this weekend.
Also, does a plugin for x86_64 linux firefox 3 exist?
I have been using F5 with 32 bit linux and firefox with no problems.

I've managed to get the firepass plugin to work on a 64 bit Ubuntu (9.04) system via nspluginwrapper:

Basically, you have to install the firepass extension, shutdown firefox, execute "nswrapperplugin -i ", and start up firefox again.... at least, that is what it took in my situation.

I am getting an error from nspluginwrapper: No appropriate viewer found for
What does that mean? How do I fix it?
