Plugin install fails with 64 bit linux firefox 3

I have tried to install the F5 plugin on 64 bit Firefox 3 and see this exact error described here:     http://ubuntuforums.org/archive/index.php/t-986832.html     Does this mean ...

I've managed to get the firepass plugin to work on a 64 bit Ubuntu (9.04) system via nspluginwrapper:

Basically, you have to install the firepass extension, shutdown firefox, execute "nswrapperplugin -i ", and start up firefox again.... at least, that is what it took in my situation.
