Persistence with HTTPS and HTTPS VIPs

I'm currently trying to figure out how to persist a session end users for both HTTPS and HTTP VIPs to a back-end server. Has anyone done this with the F5 (version 11+) config / IRules? Any help is fully appreciated.

    trx, sounds like you need to use the Match Across Services feature or persistence? This way a connection to http:x.x.x.x and https:x.x.x.x which go to the same IP address but a different VIP (one listening on port 80, the other on port 443) but the pool members are the same across both, will go to the same pool member / node.
