Persistence on an offline node due to monitor down

Hi guys,

Just a quick one.

When src persistence or any other form of persistence is in use.

If the client returns before the persistence timer expires and the backend node that the client needs to connect to is marked down by a monitor, what will happen to this returning connection.

Does the client receive a RST or will this connection persist to that node till the timer expires?

Perhaps causing the client to see an error page
