Permanently URL rewriting

Hi All,

I have one site with name let´s say www.test.sk, which is reachable somewhere in the Internet.

Task was to set up URL rewriting from one server.

So I setted up something like alias:

So I created proxy with URL www.alias.sk, which forward traffic to www.test.sk, with URL www.alias.sk.

But problem is, that when I click on some link on site www.alias.sk it redirects me back to original website www.test.sk.

I want to set up to keep www.alias.sk.

Is this possible?

Thank you

  • you can use rewrite profile to do such rewriting...

but rewriting is not a good idea! It can reduce bigip performances to 10% (like in every other reverse proxy solutions) and can forget some urls (JavaScript creating url on client side, ...)
