performance layer 4 VIP with http profile

I just want to check one thing, in performance layer 4 VIP if I map http profile and enable x-forwarder option can we manipulate the HTTP data like, original client IP will be visible to the user?

Configure a Standard Virtual Server and assign a HTTP profile to insert x-forwarded for header so that back-end server/pool members can get to know actual Client IP
