openssl s_client in LTM host OS.
openssl s_client command doesn't show any outputs, even though my VIP or my pool member is up and running for 443.I heard if I have route domains configured, it doesn't work so just wondering if there is a way to make it to work. Say like I am in my host OS in F5 and if I do openssl s_client -connect VIP:443. Sometimes I get the output and sometimes I don't. Any thoughts please ?

When you say you don't get output, is it like nothing at all in the console. Can you share the output when you're running this. Is it throwing any error at all.

Are you working in a cluster? If yes, is it working only on the standby member?

There is no error as such, it just doesn't connect. May be if anyone of you faced this, wondering if this is due to route domains.

If you are using non default route domain you will need to jump the that route domain using rdsh or rdexec
