Oct 09, 2015Thanks for reply, Brad. I'm seeing conns/sec in NewRelic plugin. What it does is it pulls ltmPoolStatServerTotConns over SNMP and uses it to calculate per second rate, if I'm correct reading the plugin code. Please, take a look at the graph

My gut feeling is however that plug-in is calculating conn/s is wrong. Total con/time do not seem correlated at all in these graphs. If you think about it how 100 total connection dived by 60s(assuming averaging over a minute) be >50cons/s. Just a gut feeling, but the calculation has to be incorrect.
