Offline (Enabled) - The children pool member(s) are down
Hi , I am idle and beginning to start configure F5 2000 series. I having problem where pool member are down. may need your opinion and suggestion where I have miss out or wrong config. FYI, I have done below setting : 1.) created 2 nodes , 1 pool and 1 Virtual server IP. 2.) untagged 8 ports within same vlan1. ping from node to node is successful. 3.) Successful Access GUI via Mgmt port. Different range IP with vlan1
But ,pool status was "Offline (Enabled) - The children pool member(s) are down"
please advise me. tq

Add on here, health monitor is http 1.) I had to create a custom monitor with 'GET /\r\n\r\n' as send string. 2.) Change to gateway_icmp monitor. 3.) Nodes are the computer , but I have configure the nodes as IIS . same issue occurred.

Hello Woh,
If the "Status indicator" is red for the pool and you have the message "Offline (Enabled) - The children pool member(s) are down" this means that the pool member is unavailable because either :
1) the node is down
2) A monitor has marked the pool member as down
