Not able to ping node (host) inside Virtual f5
Hi,
I am trying to implement a virtual f5 appliance, I have three vlans manangement vlan 101, outside vlan 916 and inside vlan 816. the interfaces are assigned as 916 as 1.1 (outside interface) and 816 (inside interface). external default gateway assigned as 101.204.136.1. Everything works as it suppose to I have a machine sitting on inside network (ip 10.136.0.5) and a public ip as 101.204.136.5 and I was able to load the page from node to VS. The only problem is I am not able to ping the node from my desktop which is on different network, I double/triple checked the firewall rules and everything looks correct. What I am missing? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Start at the start - Is traffic getting to the F5, and not replying ?
We'd need more configuration than what you've shared.
it would be really helpful if you create an image of it all and post that. perhaps you will already see the reason then.
a quick guess might be that traffic for the node goes through the big-ip and that doesn't work without forwarding servers.

the answer is no, the tcpdump is not showing that when I am trying to ping an inside node.
