Norton Antivirus 2009 Not Supported?

After upgrading to Norton AV 2009, the Firepass VPN would not recogonize the antivirus software and put the machine into Restricted Client mode. Verified that the latest software and signatures for NAV 2009 had been installed.

Replaced NAV with version 2008, and sure enough, it works again.

Problem is that the NAV subscription is expired and cannot download latest signatures. Renewal results in downloading NAV version 2009 again.

How can I get the Firepass to support / recognize Norton Antivirus 2009?
  • Thanks - More information please. Where do I get this SDK Update, which components need to be installed, and documentation on how to install these components.

  • Opswat .15 and below do not detect revision .134 NIS above. Opswat .18 functions fine.
  • I'm having the same trouble getting into a VPN w/ Norton 2009, but I cannot find HF-119205-1 on this site. Can you please send me that link? Thanks
